Customer Experience Specialist
Location: North Charleston, SC
Schedule: (Remote 2 days/week, Monday and Friday) Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; available between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM for an 8-hour shift (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay: $22/hr
Position Summary:
The Customer Experience Specialist supports the sales team by processing orders, assisting customers, and ensuring a seamless order-to-delivery experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, and order status
- Process incoming sales orders via phone, email, web, or EDI systems
- Generate quotes for stock products and complete shipping documentation for international orders
- Handle invoicing, including freight charges and credit card transactions
- Provide administrative support to sales and support teams
- Follow ISO 9001 policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year of relevant experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Organized, adaptable, and collaborative
