Job Full Description
Job Title: Dump Truck Driver
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20 – $23 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to support construction and material hauling operations. This role involves transporting aggregates, crushed concrete, dirt, and other debris to and from job sites, often in support of excavation, grading, and demolition work.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a dump truck on public roads and construction sites.

Haul and deliver materials such as gravel, crushed concrete, fill dirt, or construction debris.

Navigate job sites including tight or uneven terrain while maintaining vehicle control.

Assist crew with staging, dumping, and clean-up as needed.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance issues.

Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.

Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and related documentation accurately.

Communicate clearly with dispatch, site supervisors, and equipment operators.
Requirements:

Valid CDL Class B (or higher) and a clean driving record.

1+ year of experience operating a dump truck or similar heavy equipment.

Comfortable driving and backing up in tight construction zones.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with demolition, site preparation, or material recycling.

Familiarity with loading/unloading at quarries, landfills, or construction sites.

Basic mechanical knowledge for identifying vehicle issues on-site.
