Counter Sales Representative / Warehouse
?? Location: North Charleston, SC
?? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
?? Pay: $35,000 – $42,000 annually, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to support customers at our walk-in counter and showroom. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional service, processing orders, and offering product expertise. Ideal candidates will have experience with fasteners, hardware, or industrial supplies—but we’re also willing to train someone with strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Provide product recommendations and technical support
- Accurately process sales orders and quotes
- Maintain inventory levels on the sales floor and coordinate with the warehouse team
- Upsell complementary products when appropriate
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with the outside sales team on pricing, product availability, and customer needs
- Complete assigned tasks and contribute to process improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $35,000 – $42,000 annually, depending on experience
