Administrative Assistant – HVAC Scheduling & Permitting
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18 – $21 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
A well-established HVAC company in Moncks Corner is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations. This role will focus on coordinating installation schedules, ensuring all necessary permits are in place, and providing general administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule HVAC installation appointments and manage changes or updates with technicians and customers
- Ensure all required permits are obtained and documented before job start dates
- Communicate with local municipalities and permitting offices as needed
- Maintain accurate records for job scheduling, customer information, and permit statuses
- Provide administrative support including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling general office tasks
- Work closely with installation crews, project managers, and customers to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Track and follow up on pending permits or inspection requests
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in construction, HVAC, or a similar field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
