Job Title: Needling Operator
Location: Saint Stephens, SC
Schedule: Permanent Night Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) — Training will begin on day shift
Pay: $22.35/hour
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable Needling Operator to join our production team. This role is essential to the manufacturing of press fabrics used in the pulp and paper industry. Over time, you will be trained across multiple tasks in the department, including web making, needling, bonding, and seam forming.
Responsibilities
- Operate needling and related production equipment.
- Follow instructions provided on manufacturing cards.
- Perform standard work as outlined in job-specific procedures (JIBS).
- Monitor product quality and ensure all standards are met.
- Complete minor equipment maintenance as needed.
- Actively participate in department teams, groups, and committees.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the department.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervision.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

- Participate in safety meetings, training, and audits.
- Report any safety concerns, and correct issues when possible.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong manual and mechanical skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Team-oriented, safety-conscious, and quality-focused
Preferred:
- At least 1 year of prior manufacturing experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
