Overview:
We are seeking a Second Shift Supervisor with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication to lead production teams, ensure quality standards, and maintain smooth operations across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise operators across multiple machines and departments, including VF2, VF5, VF9, CO2 Laser, Fiber Optic Laser, BB/ATC/HYB/HG Press Brake, Weld Department, and Powder Coating.
• Manage the production schedule to ensure timely completion of jobs at all stages of the process.
• Coordinate with day shift management and workers to identify and resolve potential or ongoing production issues.
• Oversee shift transitions to ensure smooth handoffs between 1st and 2nd shift.
• Train and mentor team members on safety procedures, proper machine operation, and machine setup/breakdown.
• Maintain a detailed production log covering equipment issues, shift performance, employee updates, and safety concerns.
• Ensure all operators follow quality processes throughout production.
• Perform quality control inspections at various stages of the production process.

Key Requirements:

• Specific knowledge of the industry (e.g., sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding (Mig/Tig/Robotic), paint & powder) and relevant technologies and software.
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding needs, and providing effective solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
