Housekeeper / Laundry Attendant
Location: Summerville, SC
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Pay: $15 per hour (based on experience)
Job Overview
A hotel in Summerville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role includes guest room cleaning and assisting with on-site laundry operations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and helps maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock room supplies
- Clean bathrooms, floors, and common areas as needed
- Assist with hotel laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently and independently
Schedule
- 40-hour work week
- Must be available Monday–Saturday
- Scheduled between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mostly finished by 3:00 PM during the week
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shift
- English is not required – non-English speakers are welcome
