Job Title: SCDES Level C Licensed Water Treatment Operator

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay Rate: $40-$45+ BOE

Schedule: 6 days a week, 12-hour shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SCDES Level C Licensed Water Treatment Operator for a long-term project in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring that water quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and systems.
• Perform routine tests and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment performance, and water quality.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet project goals and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid SCDES Level C Water Treatment Operator License.
• Proven experience working in water treatment, preferably with large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week, for the duration of the project.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
