Service Technician

Location: North Charleston, SC

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered pump equipment and related systems. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities who is committed to delivering high-quality service and support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and pump systems
• Troubleshoot electrical components, including control panels
• Perform routine maintenance and service on pump equipment
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement corrective solutions
• Prepare new equipment for shipment
• Provide on-site customer support and basic operational training
• Participate in ongoing technical training programs
• Assist with general shop and warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with diesel engines, pumps, or heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Tier 4 Final engines preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
