Quality Control Inspector
Location: North Charleston, SC
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday availability may be required based on production volume and business needs.
Position Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate inspection records in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products for quality and compliance standards.
- Identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies and report findings to supervisors.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks using established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming materials.
- Verify product labeling, packaging, and shipment accuracy.
- Follow quality assurance guidelines, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Assist with inventory audits and product verification as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous quality control, warehouse, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
