Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to operate various CNC machines including lathes and milling machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mechanical processes to ensure high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Interpret and read blueprints, CAD drawings, and SolidWorks models to determine machining requirements.
  • Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for efficient machining operations.
  • Perform GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) analysis to ensure accuracy in production.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal condition; troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
  • Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively as needed for assembly tasks.
  • Engage in electrical discharge machining (EDM) when required for specific projects.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Must have more than 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with CAM programming software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
  • Experience in welding or assembly work is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills are essential for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Mechanical knowledge along with experience in manufacturing environments is required.
