Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on precision and efficiency. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of machinery and equipment in the manufacturing facility.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Perform maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
  • Work with hydraulics systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Provide technical sales support as needed, assisting customers with product inquiries and solutions.
  • Conduct HVAC/R maintenance and repairs to ensure environmental control systems are functioning efficiently.
  • Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at heights.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate alignment and installation of machinery.
  • Execute welding tasks including stick welding to repair or fabricate components as necessary.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.

Experience

  • Proven industrial mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Experience in field service roles within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Previous exposure to customer service roles is advantageous for effective communication with clients.
  • Strong analysis skills to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment is essential.
