Backhoe Operator Utilities (Travel Required)
Location: Lexington, SC (Travel to Augusta, GA)
Pay: $20$28hr (Based on Experience)

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring an experienced Backhoe Operator to work on-site near underground utilities. This role requires precision digging around active utility lines, so prior experience in this environment is essential. The position is based in Lexington, SC, with weekly travel to Augusta, GA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a backhoe to dig trenches and expose utility lines safely
- Perform work in close proximity to live wires and underground infrastructure
- Follow all safety guidelines and utility locate protocols
- Load/unload equipment and assist crew as needed on-site
Schedule & Travel:
- Meet Mondays at 6:00 AM at the Lexington office
- Return Thursdays around 2:00 PM
- Travel to Augusta, GA required weekly
- Hotel accommodations provided (shared room for two employees)
- Daily per diem included
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating backhoes near utility lines
- Valid South Carolina drivers license
- Ability to pass a clean drug screen
- Willingness to travel and share hotel accommodations
