Position: Concrete Manufacturer Foreman
Schedule: Mon- Fri 7am-5pm PAY: $20
Location: Gaston, SC 29053
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Concrete Manufacturer Foreman to oversee yard operations and a team of two in a manufacturing setting. This hands-on role requires leadership, organization, and experience in concrete production. The foreman will manage materials, assist with truck loading, and operate equipment as needed while ensuring safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of two in daily manufacturing operations.
- Track stock and materials, including maintaining inventory of tanks.
- Assist with loading trucks and organizing shipments.
- Operate backhoe and forklift; perform light digging as required.
- Collaborate with management (Randi) to monitor production numbers and volume.
- Apply concrete knowledge and experience to ensure quality production.
- Knowledge of mixing concrete is a plus.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Support team development and workflow efficiency.
Schedule:
- Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Bring lunch (cant always leave site, especially in new developments)
Dress Code:
- Steel toes preferred
- Jeans/pants; dress for the weather
- Dirty work; waterproof lace-up boots recommended
