Position: General Laborers
Schedule: Mon- Fri 7am-5pm
PAY: $16-$17
Location: Gaston, SC
Job Summary:
- Join our team as a General Laborer supporting septic tank installation in rural sites. This physically demanding role requires reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. Candidates will work alongside a 3-man crew, assisting in all aspects of site preparation and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Meet at site and travel with crew to job site.
- Install septic tanks on rural sites.
- Ride in a large CDL truck to transport crew and materials.
- Operate tools and equipment including electric saws, mini excavators, and backhoes.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain situational awareness and prioritize safety at all times.
- Support plumbing tasks; one laborer will shoot grade and lay product while the other carries pipe and hooks up plumbing.
- Bring snacks/lunch as leaving the site may not be possible, especially in new developments.
Qualifications:
- Plumbing experience a plus.
- Physically capable of performing demanding labor.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Schedule:
- Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Bring lunch (can't always leave site, plus in new developments)
Dress Code:
- Steel toes preferred
- Jeans/pants, dress for the weather
- Recommended waterproof lace-up boots
- Expect dirty work
