Job Full Description
Express Employment is now seeking an experienced Installer for a company in the West Columbia, SC area! This is a long-term career opportunity that will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of custom cabinetry in industrial settings. Hours are Monday- Friday starting at 7 am with 8-to-10-hour shifts. Pay will be $16.00 + hourly, based on industry experience.
Duties include:
-Assembly of commercial grade cabinets, as well as plastic laminate countertops and solid surface countertops
-Installation of commercial grade cabinet, as well as plastic laminate countertops and solid surface countertops
-Reading blueprints to identify necessary size and dimensions of product you are working on
-Lamination of cabinets including flush trim routing and filing
-Installing required hardware on cabinets
-Keeping a clean, organized work environment
-Perform other duties as necessary and directed by supervisor, to include, but not be limited to working on site trash pick-up, tool/supply room or warehouse attendant, and following all safety requirements
Qualifications:
-3-5 years cabinet fabrication or woodworking experience
- Proficiency of mathematics, techniques, skills, and processes involved in woodworking, fabrication and finishing
- Ability to build from technical drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to work independently and, alternatively, follow instructions
- Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Properly and safely use and maintain shop equipment
