Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule:
- Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (until finished)
- Potential for overtime
- No Saturdays unless weather-related
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves managing warehouse staff and drivers while actively participating in physical warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to balance office and warehouse responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise 3 warehouse personnel and 3 drivers to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Load and unload trucks using a dolly, forklift, and other warehouse equipment.
- Store and organize materials, including boxes and barrels, on warehouse shelving.
- Pull orders from pick sheets and prepare shipments for delivery to customers.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and lift gates (training provided).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with data entry and shipment tracking.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
- Work approximately 60% in the warehouse and 40% in the office managing logistics and records.
- Provide training, coaching, and daily direction to warehouse team members.
- Follow all safety, attendance, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics management role preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and able to use inventory or shipping software.
- Forklift experience required (or ability to become certified).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must have good job tenure, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- No cell phone usage permitted during work hours.
Dress Code:
- Jeans and plain shirt (no logos or baggy clothing)
- Steel-toe shoes required
- PPE provided as needed
Additional Information:
- Drug Screen (DS): Yes, must pass prior to start.
- Training will be provided.
