Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Including A/P & A/R)
Pay Rate: $15/hour Employment Type: Temporary Start Date: Targeting hire next week
Position Summary: - We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Office Assistant to support daily administrative and financial tasks, including basic Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) duties. This is a short-term role ideal for someone with strong clerical experience who can help maintain office operations efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as receptionist: greet guests and answer incoming phone calls. - Perform data entry into Excel spreadsheets and QuickBooks. - Assist with basic A/P & A/R tasks (entering invoices, recording payments, matching receipts, etc.) - Send and respond to emails, scan and copy documents. - Create and maintain filing systems; generate folders and labels. - Support general office functions and complete assigned tasks to keep the office organized and productive.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of office clerical experience; familiarity with A/P and A/R processes preferred. - Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. - Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Detail-oriented with good organizational habits. - Able to follow oral and written instructions. - Adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn. - Works well in a team environment and maintains a professional demeanor.
Dress Code: - Casual, clean attire appropriate for an office setting. - No low-cut tops or tight/distressed jeans.
Schedule: - Monday through Friday
