Job Full Description
Express Employment is now seeking CDL Class A Regional Drivers for a transportation company in the West Columbia area! This position is responsible for hauling refrigerated freight on regional drop-and-hook routes throughout South Carolina. Pay starts at $25.00/hour with daily home time.
Duties include:
- Operating a 53' refrigerated (reefer) trailer
- Completing an average of two trips per day
- Performing drop-and-hook freight only (no unloading)
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Following all DOT and company safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR with no accidents
- Experience operating a 53' reefer trailer
- Strong safety record and reliable attendance
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (start times between 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; shifts may end as late as 12:00 AM-1:00 AM)
