Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Production Assocaite with Standup Forklift experience in the West Columbia area starting at $19. This position is a Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6:30am Full-time long-term position.
Job Description:
- Work production line and perform quality checks and assist with packaging.
- Feeding light weight material or insulation into machine. (used to make generators and vehicle parts)
- Will be potentially responsible for Switch machine on/off
- Put Product on a core that comes out in rolls or sheets. Candidate must check the quantity, wrap, release roll, weigh it, and place on pallet.
- There is a quality control checklist, where they must measure the thickness, length and weight. Will inspect to make sure it meets the correct parameters.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to use a Tape measure.
- Must be able to use computer to type in data into excel spreadsheet.
- Standard rate depends on material. Have a support team to meet quota.
- Motivated and respectful.
- Good attitude.
- Teamwork and collaboration
Dress code: Steel toes. shorts ok; nothing baggy; no loose hair.
No cell phones out on production floor.
Work environment: non climate-controlled shop
