Entry-Level Glass Installer / Helper

Location: Columbia, SC 29072
Pay: $17.00-$20.00/hour

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Entry-Level Glass Installers/Helpers for a short-term commercial project through approximately the end of July. This position will assist with installing storefront glass and approximately 400 shower doors at a large apartment complex.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday | 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist with lifting, moving, and installing shower doors
-Use power drills and hand tools during installation
-Assist with storefront glass installation projects
-Maintain a clean and safe job site
-Follow all safety procedures and directions from lead installers

Qualifications:

-Construction or installation experience preferred but not required
-Comfortable lifting and moving heavy materials
-Experience using power drills and basic hand tools
-Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites

Worksite Policies & Highlights:

-Short-term assignment through approximately the end of July
-Additional commercial projects may become available
-Shirts and hard hats provided
-Steel-toe boots required
-Black pants or jeans required
-5-panel drug screen required
-Background check required
