Job Overview:
The Senior Strategic Buyer is responsible for leading sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings while supporting manufacturing operations and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
-Develop and manage supplier relationships
-Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities
-Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
-Manage supplier performance and purchasing activities in SAP
-Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
-5+ years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in manufacturing
-Strong SAP, Microsoft Office, and procurement system experience
-Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
-Experience with supplier management and contract negotiations
