Job Full Description
Express Employment is now hiring an Entry-Level Mechanic / Lube Technician for an airport facility in the West Columbia, SC area! This is a full-time opportunity for someone with 12 years of mechanic or lube technician experience who is looking to build a long-term career in fleet maintenance.
Pay: $22.00+/hr (Based off experience)
Schedule:
Summer: MondayFriday | 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
Winter: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Job Duties:
-Perform oil changes and tire rotations
-Complete preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles
-Perform basic mechanical repairs
-Assist senior technicians with maintenance and repairs
-Learn advanced mechanical skills through on-the-job training
Requirements:
-12 years of automotive or diesel lube technician/mechanic experience preferred
-Valid driver's license required
-Ability to pass a TSA background investigation
-Pass a 7-panel drug screen, TB test, and physical examination
-Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
