Industrial Lab Technician – Start at $19.75/hr | Full-Time Contract Opportunity
Join a leading manufacturing team in Alcoa, TN through Express Employment Professionals! We’re hiring a detail-oriented Industrial Quality Laboratory Technician to ensure product excellence and maintain safety standards in a heavy industrial environment.
Starting Pay: $19.75/hr with potential for raises
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (includes weekends/overtime when scheduled)
Location: Maryville, TN
What You’ll Do:
- Collect and prepare product samples for analysis
- Perform quality checks, detect inconsistencies, and troubleshoot equipment
- Document findings and maintain accurate records
- Perform instrument maintenance and standard control procedures
- Conduct safety audits and monitor testing equipment
- Process and verify data using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- SAP experience is a plus!
Who We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is a bonus
- Committed to safety, consistency, and teamwork
