Location: Alcoa, TN
Pay: $25.88/hour
Schedule: Primarily Day Shift (Monday–Friday), with availability required for after-hours and weekend support

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Scheduling Coordinator for a leading manufacturer in the Alcoa, TN area. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive pay and a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and post weekly schedules for Mechanics and Electricians

• Coordinate and call for overtime coverage as directed by leadership

• Monitor call-ins and arrange shift coverage 24/7

• Track and manage vacation schedules and updates

• Maintain daily logs for:

  • 64-hour work offers

  • 72-hour waiver acceptances

  • Force list updates

• Verify time entries and ensure database accuracy

• Communicate with HR/Payroll for new hires and transfers

• Post and update SPA (Scheduling and Planning Announcements)

• Schedule annual medical exams and follow up with employees

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience in scheduling or administrative support

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Familiarity with Workbrain or similar scheduling systems

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and work independently or with cross-functional teams

Work Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday

• On-call availability for evenings and weekends
