Shop Hand – $17.00 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shop hand for a local company in Vonore, TN.
Shop hand Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate counts of all parts, perform regular cycle counts, track stock levels, and ensure proper storage and labeling.
- Use inventory management software to enter data, update part records, generate reports, and monitor stock movement.
- Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Complete basic welding tasks for repairs, fabrication, or equipment support using appropriate tools and safety procedures.
Shop hand Qualifications:
- Experience processing shipments, preparing freight, and working with carriers.
- Experience performing basic mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance.
- Ability to perform light welding tasks (MIG, stick, or similar).
Shop hand Shift:
- 1st shift
- Monday-Friday 7am-4:00pm
