Maintenance Planner
$32-$35/hr | Temp-to-Perm | Alcoa, TN
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Planner for a large industrial employer in Alcoa. This position serves as the liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance teams while supporting maintenance planning, scheduling, documentation, and materials management.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts on a 2/3/3/2 schedule
- Assigned to either days or nights based on business needs
- Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance, preventive maintenance, and outage work
- Create and manage work orders in Oracle eAM
- Coordinate materials, parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities
- Maintain maintenance records, work instructions, and documentation
- Support safety, production, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Order and manage supplies for production and maintenance departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience
- Mechanical and electrical background
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work either day or night shift as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Manufacturing maintenance planning experience
- Oracle eAM experience
- Maintenance, machining, or fabrication experience
