Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Stand-Up Forklift Operator will ensure that all products are handled safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklift to move materials within the warehouse or distribution center
- Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets, and move products to designated areas
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies or defects in equipment or products to supervisors immediately
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines regarding health and safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a stand-up forklift operator
- Valid certification to operate a stand-up forklift
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
