Diesel Mechanic – Roll-Off Truck Fleet
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of roll-off trucks and heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate will diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Pay: $20–$25 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems

Perform routine preventative maintenance and DOT inspections

Maintain roll-off hoists, hydraulic systems, and related components

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

Keep accurate service and repair records

Ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications:
-
Experience working on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks preferred

Knowledge of hydraulic systems

Ability to use diagnostic tools

Strong troubleshooting skills
-
CDL and/or ASE certifications a plus
