We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Project Truck Driver with a CDL-A to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and materials to various job sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety and company protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, ensuring proper handling of loads.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from project sites.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, driving hours, and vehicle inspections.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance before each trip.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding deliveries.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure timely arrival at project locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and dependable with a strong commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving a flatbed or 53'' dry van.
