Administrative Assistant – Law Office
Location: Crossville, TN
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy law office in Crossville. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls, greet clients, and manage front desk reception.

Maintain attorney calendars, schedule client meetings, and track court dates and deadlines.

Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including electronic court filings.

Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic.

Draft correspondence, letters, and memos as directed.

Assist with billing, office supply management, and general office support.

Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all client and office interactions.
Requirements:

Previous administrative or legal office experience preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

Occasional lifting of files, boxes, or office supplies (up to 20 lbs).

Ability to bend, reach, and move around the office as needed.
