Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Bag Feeder position in Sparta, TN.
The Bag Feeder is responsible for filling, weighing, sealing, and labeling feed and mineral products, as well as assisting customers and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This role involves consistent physical labor and attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality feed packaging.
Key Responsibilities:

Fill and package feed, grain, and mineral mixes into bags according to customer orders and store standards.

Weigh and verify accuracy of bagged products before sealing and labeling.

Stock, stack, rotate, and organize feed inventory (bagged and bulk).
-
Assist customers with feed selection, placing orders, and loading products into vehicles.

Maintain cleanliness around feed bins, bagging equipment, and storage areas.

Monitor feed quality to prevent contamination, moisture issues, or spoilage.

Unload and store feed deliveries as needed.

Follow safety protocols when handling equipment and heavy materials.
Requirements:

Ability to lift 50–60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

Comfortable working in a warehouse/feed environment (dust, grain, outdoor temps).

Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Customer-service mindset; friendly and helpful with customers.

Experience in a feed store, farm, or agricultural setting is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
-
Basic knowledge of livestock feed types (cattle, poultry, horse, deer minerals, etc.).

Ability to operate bagging equipment, pallet jacks, or loaders (training may be provided).

Good organizational and time-management skills
