Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a Picker position with an established Distribution and Warehouse Center in Flooring. This position requires previous forklift experience and will pay $18 per hour. The hours are M-F from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and properly operate an order picker and forklift
- Utilize forklift to pick orders with sheets of wood and distribute wood flooring products
- Will work in Shipping and Receiving department
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Must not be afraid of heights since will be working off of a platform 30+ feet in the air
- Must be very detailed, accurate, and precise with work
- Must be able to lift 75-85 lbs. repeatedly
- Capable of reading tape measures, scales and gauges
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management System is a plus!
- Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling repeatedly
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working overtime if needed.
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots
