Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable candidates for a Welder Position with a local Global Manufacturer. This position will pay $16 per hour, and the hours are M-F from 6:00 AM-2:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
-
Operate and maintain equipment in the weld and assembly area including, but not limited to, robotic weld cells, automated assembly equipment, manual weld equipment and manual assembly equipment
- Monitor quality of products using measuring tools, gauges and fixtures
- Read and interpret job instruction sheets and inspection forms
- Recordkeeping of production
- Complete daily log entries
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Possesses High School Diploma or GED
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have an understanding of robotic welders
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Possess basic math and computer skills
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and twisting
- Able to stand on a concrete surface for the duration of the shift
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE but not limited to Steel Toed Boots
