Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable, industrious candidates for a Welding Position with a local Global Manufacturer. This position will pay $16.50 per hour, and the hours are M-F from 2:30PM-11PM.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment in the weld and assembly area including, but not
limited to robotic weld cells, automated assembly equipment, manual weld
equipment and manual assembly equipment
- Monitor quality of products using measuring tools, gauges and fixtures
- Read and interpret job instruction sheets and inspection
- Record keeping with respect to quality, productivity and downtime
- Completion of daily log entries
- Effectively execute the principles of lean manufacturing
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Possesses High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-3 months experience in manufacturing environment
- Must have understanding of robotic welders
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE but not limited to Steel Toed Boots
