Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Brake Press Operator position in McEwen, TN. This position will pay depending on experience, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Brake Press Machine
- Run, Bend, and Form operations using standard and custom punches
- Use CNC controller to input information in machine
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints
- Check height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments
- Perform spot inspections of parts
- Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures
- Complete and maintain paperwork
- Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must have 3 - 5 years Experience Set Up and Operation
- Must be motivated and an organized self-starter
- Possess basic knowledge of sheet metal practices
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Able to work in non-climate controlled environment
- Willing to attend Education Programs
