Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and diligent candidates for a Material Handler position with a Steel Supplier. This position will pay $16 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30AM- 4:00PM. This is an interview based position and will take a fit test after interview if selected.
Responsibilities:
- Load truck with steel with some lifting involved and utilizing overhead crane and forklift.
- Cleanup warehouse as needed
- Operate Forklift, shears, saws, and lasers
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Must have GED or High School Diploma
- Capable of heavy lifting and carrying up to 75lbs
- Must have excellent math skills
- Able to utilize different equipment
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Capable of working around steel
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as climbing, bending, stooping, heavy lifting, unloading and carrying materials.
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
