Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking candidates for a MIG Welder position for a Welded Exhaust Assembly Manufacturer. This position will pay $12 / hr. (without experience) and $14 / hr. (with experience), and the hours are Monday - Thursday from 6:00AM - 4:00PM.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and join exhaust components
- Configure MIG equipment and setup workpieces using jogs
- Clean, grind, and align components
- Perform welds on thin gauge steel
- Visually inspect welds
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of working in a dirty environment
- Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
