Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking dedicated candidates for a Machine Operator entry-level position at $14.50 / hour with an established manufacturing company in McEwen. Interested applicants must to be willing to work 10-hour shifts M-F 7am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately operate production machinery and equipment in the production department
- Move materials and or parts between work stations
- Assist other operators by loading and unloading jigs, fixtures, and/or tooling
- Must keep accurate counts of production parts
- Adhere to Quality Checks
- May assemble and/or pack products
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting 10 lbs.
- Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the entire shift
- Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime as needed.
