Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking efficient candidates for a Technology Support Specialist position with a Medical Software Company located in Joelton, TN. This position will pay $21.14 / hour, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 A.M.- 4:30 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Set up PCs for new customers
- Upgrade existing customers
- Offer remote support
- Perform software installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Document technical knowledge in an online wiki
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Experience of SQL Server both standard and express
- Scripting languages (Lua)
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and flexible
