Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Shipper Position with a Filter Manufacturer located in Hopkinsville, KY. This position will pay $17.00 per hour, and the hours are M-F and some Saturdays from 6:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
Responsibilities:
- Pack orders based on packing instructions with accurate counting and following packing requirements
- Utilize forklifts to move products
- Enter into the system the correct information to acknowledge receipt and shipment of goods.
- Move materials and finish product on production floor and in warehouse area
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of working overtime as needed
- Experience driving a sit down and stand up forklift
- Capable of interpreting packing slips.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work overtime when needed
- Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Demonstrates the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of standing/walking on concrete for the entire shift
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to safety glasses or side shields and steel toed boots or shoes
