Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable candidates for a Finishing/ Lifter position with an Industry Leader in Manufacturing Company in Kingston Springs. This position will pay $20 per hour, and candidates must be available Monday through Friday for a 7:00 P.M.- 7:00 A.M. 12-hour rotating shift.
Responsibilities:
- Lift boxes off of a rolling conveyor line and place onto a pallet
- Help make boxes for packers utilizing a tape gun
- Utilize a scan gun and record information on a computer program to keep up with count and product
- Comply with plant safety and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
- Completes all other duties as assigned
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Must have a GED or a Diploma
- Must have own transportation- vehicle and valid drivers license
- Experience with computers is required
- Capable of lifting 5 lb.-25 lb. boxes
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the shift
- Capable of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
- Capable of working in a safe manner
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots
