Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Print Operator position. This position will pay between $15.00- $17.00/ hour depending on experience, and the hours are 12-hour shifts for 2nd Shift. Candidates will train on 1st Shift and move to 2nd Shift with a $.30 Shift differential when moved.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Printing Press Machine.
- Proof documents for errors and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Setup and operator presses to create printed materials
- Maintain print equipment with preventative maintenance and make minor repairs
- Print sheets, run folding machines, paper cutters, bindery equipment
- Adheres to all safety regulations
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with machine operating is required
- Capable of completing all safety training
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
- Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Capable of working in a noisy, loud environment
- Capable of being regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel Toe boots, Safety glasses, Hearing protection, and other equipment per related to safety SOP
