Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client in the restoration and construction industry who is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager / Construction Estimator to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction estimates including materials, labor, and equipment
- Create sketches and scopes of work for construction projects
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure safety standards and industry compliance
- Participate in weekly work-in-progress meetings
- Assist with scheduling and project coordination
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Experience with estimating, project coordination, or restoration projects
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders
- Comfortable working in construction jobsite environments
- Ability to work in heat, noise, and varying conditions
