We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our manufacturing team as Sanitation Associates. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment. No previous sanitation experience is required. We provide training for motivated individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to established procedures.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain compliance with company food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
- Remove waste and dispose of materials properly.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, and production areas.
- Complete required sanitation documentation accurately.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility.
Qualifications
- No experience required; manufacturing, janitorial, or sanitation experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, water, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical labor for extended periods.
