Job Title: General Manager - Heating and Air Company
Location: Gray, TN
Salary: $100,000 annually or $40 - $48 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced General Manager to lead our well-established heating and air company in Gray, TN. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in HVAC, sales, warehouse management, inventory control, and/or general management. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, manage warehouse and inventory, and ensure the smooth running of all business functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth workflows across all departments, including HVAC installation, service, sales, warehouse, and inventory.
- Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring employee growth, and improving performance.
- Sales Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals, manage client relationships, and drive business growth.
- Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee the warehouse operations, including stock levels, order management, and the efficient use of materials. Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste and ensure timely availability of products.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the company's budget, monitor financial performance, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure profitability.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that the company’s customer service standards are upheld across all operations. Address any issues or concerns to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with company leadership to set long-term goals, improve operational processes, and ensure sustainable growth.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the company operates in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in HVAC, sales, warehouse management, inventory control, and/or general management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, overseeing multiple departments, and driving operational success.
- Strong background in sales and achieving revenue goals.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to grow the business.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to create and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and control costs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions that align with company goals.
- Experience in customer service excellence and conflict resolution.
- HVAC industry experience and knowledge of systems and services is highly preferred.
