We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations in a busy automotive and truck repair shop. This role supports the Shop Manager, assists with team supervision, and helps ensure efficient workflow, quality service, and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties Include:

• Assist the Shop Manager with daily shop operations and scheduling
• Supervise technicians and support staff to ensure productivity and safety
• Help coordinate repair jobs, work orders, and workflow priorities
• Communicate with customers regarding service timelines, estimates, and updates
• Ensure quality control of completed repairs and maintenance work
• Maintain inventory levels for parts, tools, and supplies
• Enforce shop policies, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Provide basic administrative support, including documentation and invoicing
• Step in as acting manager when needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in automotive or truck repair environment preferred
• Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced shop environment
• Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented
