Job Summary
The Document Specialist plays a crucial role by ensuring the accurate processing and management of documentation related to loan origination and underwriting. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The Document Specialist will work closely with loan officers and other financial professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the department.
Duties
- Review and verify loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Process incoming documentation related to loan origination, ensuring compliance with fair housing regulations.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, bank statements, and other relevant financial documents.
- Inputting data in Excel and main banking system
- Assist underwriting teams by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
Skills
- Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Working with numbers, researching to find required information, and are very self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
