Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced AutoCAD Drafter (Commercial Construction) to support commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing and revising detailed construction drawings and project documentation while working closely with project stakeholders to ensure accuracy and coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise construction drawings and project documents for commercial projects

• Draft floor plans, elevations, details, and coordination drawings

• Develop drawings from: Field measurements, Markups (redlines), and Sketches provided by project teams

• Review and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Subcontractors and Design professionals

• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD

• Experience in commercial construction drafting

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple revisions and deadlines

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
