Job Title: Crown-Certified Sit-Down Forklift Technician

- 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Crown-Certified Forklift Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing Crown sit-down forklifts, with an emphasis on maintaining uptime and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Crown certification is required.
Multiple shifts are available to best fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Crown sit-down forklifts, including electric and internal combustion (IC) models.
- Perform routine maintenance and scheduled service tasks during assigned shift hours.
- Use Crown diagnostic software (e.g., GTS) and service tools to troubleshoot equipment.
- Replace or repair faulty components: motors, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, etc.
- Document all work in maintenance tracking system and ensure proper part usage.
- Follow Crown OEM standards, safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate clearly with leads, supervisors, and other departments regarding equipment status and repair needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Crown Equipment Corporation certification (must be current and verifiable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on Crown-brand sit-down forklifts.
- Familiarity with electric lift truck systems, hydraulic components, and electronic control units.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Reliable attendance for assigned shift.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical work in various warehouse conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical school or formal training in industrial equipment repair.
- Familiarity with Crown InfoLink system and onboard diagnostics.
- Experience maintaining battery systems and forklift chargers.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
